Surrey Wedding Photographer | Woldingham | Lucy and Nick

When Lucy and Nick asked me to be their Surrey Wedding Photographer at the beautiful Woldingham School I was more than happy. I met them 12 months prior for a coffee in London. I instantly had my fingers crossed that I could shoot their wedding. Not only do I love Woldingham, but the vibe I got from these guys was great. We met again about a month or so before their day and I could have stayed and chatted all evening. Its so important to have a great rapport with my couples and for them to feel at ease and able to open up and relax. We talked through their plans and I couldn’t wait.

The day started off with the bridal prep at Lucy’s mums place at Westerham, overlooking some amazing countryside. The relaxed vibe continued on to the second prep location (where the dress was safely waiting) in Epsom, just down the road to the Church. In fact at one point the girls were sitting the garden, in the sun, as if it was any normal Saturday.

The Ceremony was beautiful. The whole congregation were in full voice and then it was outside into the sunshine for the trip to Woldingham and the wedding breakfast and party.

From then on it was lawn games, lots of laughter, some great speeches and delicious food. The weather was just perfect too, a glorious sunny day sandwiched between some not so glorious sunny days. You guys must have performed some funky sun dance!

Then the merrymaking….and some very excited groomsmen at the thought of lighting multiple fireworks from a single lighter. No eyebrows were lost in the making!
