Beautiful Countryside Wedding at the Granary Barns

Wedding at the Granary Barns Estate Suffolk – Suffolk Wedding Photographer

Laura was looking for a Suffolk Wedding Photographer and luckily she found me. As soon as I met Laura and Dirk and went through their wedding plans at the Granary Barns Estate, I knew it was going to be a corker. Suffolk is a beautiful part of the country and furthermore The Granary Barns Estate is a rather special venue. Set amid stunning countryside with vast skies it is especially perfect for an elegant laid back wedding.

Laura and the girls prepped at the Packhorse inn which is a beautiful country pub near Newmarket. Super chilled, super friendly and lots of laughs all morning. After prep it was off to Granary Barns Estate for the ceremony and the party. The previous few days had been overcast and rainy and i kept saying to Laura that we should keep an eye on the sky because I had a good feeling we could be in for a sunset treat. Sure enough, just as the sun dipped below the clouds we were blessed with some summer magic.

The second their first dance finished the grabbed me and we made a dash for the open fields. and it was well worth it. For 10 minutes Laura and Dirk just relaxed, spent an wonderful moment together on their special day, the sky lit up and and small breeze picked up the veil. I love it when couples really forget im there and are in the moment. Just enjoying each other company. Beautiful light, glorious weather, amazing countryside and Laura and dirk. Perfect combo!

Then it was back inside the barn for the music and part. I didn’t want to leave. What a fantastic day and great company. Thanks for letting me shoot it.
